Poly aluminum Chloride

Poly aluminum Chloride is  abbreviated to PAC. Also commonly referred toas a water purifying agent or coagulant, PAC is a watersoluble inorganic highmolecular polymer between ALCL3 and AL(OH)3, the chemical formula is [AL2(OH)nCl6nLm], m represents the degree of polymerization and n represents the degree ofneutrality of the PAC product.

The color isyellow or light yellow, dark brown, dark gray resinous solid. The product hasstrong bridging adsorption performance, and is accompanied by physical andchemical processes such as coagulation, adsorption and precipitation during thehydrolysis process. There is a fundamental difference between poly aluminum chlorideand traditional inorganic coagulant, because the traditional inorganiccoagulant is a low molecular crystalline salt, and the structure of the polyaluminum chloride is composed of a polymorphic carboxy complex with amorphological change, and the flocculation and sedimentation speed is fast, andis suitable for wide pH range, noncorrosive to pipeline equipment, obviouswater purification effect, can effectively remove heavy metal ions such as SS,COD, BOD and arsenic and mercury in water. This product is widely used indrinking water, industrial water and sewage treatment fields.
